Its been exactly 2yr 1month 29days since I joined Perot. I joined on 31st Aug 2004 rite after my BE. I had never thought that there will be a day in my life to be out of Perot. I got lots of good friends through out. Though initial couple of weeks were very boring, didnt come across those since my training started. Initially we 12 of us joined and had got reduced to 9 when my training started. Got an awesome trainers for java (Vasu, a java guru), Oracle (Arathi, a beautiful lady) and XML (Laxman, a brainy). Went through 2 months of useful trainings (both tech and non-tech)
Got allocated to a project called OPAS-ITFM after training on 1st Dec 2004. A wonderful team to start with. A whole bunch of young guys in the team with very helping team leads and a manager .With the young, hot and fresh blood worked a lot with great enthu. We all played, learnt a lot while working here. I never forget those slogged nights to meet the deadlines, my PM dropping me near my house at 1PM in the night.
Later the team got dispersed to different projects as the project . Joined my second and last project so called SABRE on 16th Jun 2005. When I entered this floor, a A1 security floor, it was like a library. No one use to talk to each other. I took some time to get used to such kinda environment coming from such an happening ground floor. I was like y d hell dat project got over !!! . Meanwhile I joined AAKAANKSHA, a cultural committee of Perot and start knowing people better. So day by day I donno whether I got used to it or it got used to me, at the end it was like y d f**k my mind never obeys my heart’s order :(.
There were days where I used to tell my friends – “hey, dont worry yar, we all b in touch, mobile is thr, mails r thr….blah blah bla…. Wht not” when they used to feel bad when thy were quitting. But really I felt it today. When I was leaving Aakaanksha, my floor, my friends, my comp, my admin, my HR, my Management. Really I should be thankful to all who made my life here really memorable. I used to spend more time in the comp more than @ house.
Ok, yar…I cannot talk anymore… really my eyes are flooded now.. will continue some other time….
